Nancy Joyce was born in December 1861 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 Nancy Joyce's father was Hugh Warren and her mother is Jane Vance. Her paternal grandparents were Avery Warren and Margaret Compton. She had three brothers and a sister, named William V., Charles N., William L. and Mary L.. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 69 in 1930.1 General Notes
