Sarah Underwood 
Sarah was born in 1866 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 Sarah's father is William A. Underwood and her mother was Nancy Nelson. Her paternal grandfather was Abraham Hiram Underwood and her paternal grandmother is Mary Roark. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John Thornton, Thomas A., William H., Mary Jane, Elizabeth G. and Nancy Ann. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Andrew Jackson, Rufus, George Alfred, Ollie, Ellis W., Matson, Maude Alice and Nora. She died at the age of 84 on July 25th, 1950 in Buffalo, Larue Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
