James Jackson was born in 1802 in Jennings Co., Indiana.1 James Jackson's father was James Underwood and his mother is Mary Jackson. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Underwood and Margaret Offill. He had seven sisters named Delila, Margaret, Margaret, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Nancy and Nancy.
