Carrie Lucille was born on July 9th, 1908.1 Carrie Lucille's father was Van Cleveland Underwood and her mother was Linnie Allen. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel S., Rev. Underwood and Rachel Bell Judd. She had five brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Bernie Howard, Willie, Chandler, Sammy L., Dewey, Myrtle, Freda, Mary Ella and Detrus. She died at the age of 33 in 1941. She was buried in OSSW Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, LaRue Co. Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
