Lylas Adeline was born on October 27th, 1898.1 Lylas Adeline's father was Bigham Scion Tumlinson and her mother was Cynthia Elizabeth Cotton. Her paternal grandparents were William Pytus Tumlinson and Mary Ann Boykin; her maternal grandparents are William L. Cotton and Emma Unknown. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Bigham Earnest, Martin Raymond, William Harlery, Sr., Obie Ulee, Joseph Newton, Linzie Matthew, David Franklin, Annie Adele, Mary Ida, Winnie Faye, Cynthia Virginia and Estelle. She died at the age of 78 on June 29th, 1977 in Tom Green Co., Texas.1 General Notes
