Ellis Milton was born on October 31st, 1906 in Hamilton Co., Illinois.1 Ellis Milton's father was James Franklin Stafford and his mother was Sarah Lola Ellis. His paternal grandparents were Alexander M. Stafford and Artemesia Wheeler. He had a brother and two sisters, named Charles Kenneth, Lois Jewel and Faye Laverne. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-sisters named Italene Virginia, Isabel Jessie and Katherine Louise. He died at the age of 89 on June 15th, 1996 in Hamilton Co., Illinois. He was buried on June 18th, 1996 in Hopewell Baptist Cem., McLeansboro, Hamilton Co., Illinois.1 1 General Notes
