Edward Franklin Smiley

Edward Franklin was born about 1837.¹   Edward Franklin's father was William Smiley and his mother was Unknown Wife. He had two brothers and a sister, named Seth W., Abner and Louisiana.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had ten half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, John, Harrison Thomas, Elijah, Benjamin, Sylvester, Samuel M., James N. 'Jim', Charles L., Robert P. and Sarah Jane.  He died after March 4th, 1886.¹ 

‌Edward Franklin and Mary Ruth were married in a religious ceremony after 1867.¹ 

They had two daughters named Amanda E. and Lucretia F..
