James Smalley 
James was born on December 1st, 1765 in Truro, Massachusetts.1 James' father was Francis Smalley and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents are Samuel Smalley and Isabel Dyer; his maternal grandparents are Thoams Smith and Joanna Mayo. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, Francis, Thomas, Samuel, Daniel, Jesse, Elizabeth and Joanna. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 7 in February 1773. He was buried in Old North Cemetery , Truro, Massachusetts.1 1 General Notes
