William Henry Skaggs

William Henry was born on April 5th, 1846 in Green Co., Kentucky.¹ William Henry's father was John Calvin Skaggs and his mother is Nancy Skaggs. His paternal grandfather was William Brock Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Wells; his maternal grandfather was Matthew Skaggs and his maternal grandmother is Mary Catherine Long. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Alfred, James Dobson, Stephen Thomas and Mary Jane. He was the oldest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Samuel Major, Henry Moody, Jefferson Henry, Luther Forster, Luther Foster, Malissa Jane, Burnette, Caroline, Laura Green and Rachel Ermma. He died at the age of 68 on February 5th, 1915 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.¹
