William Skaggs

William was born in 1834 in Kentucky.¹ William's father is Fielding Skaggs and his mother is Sally Perry. His paternal grandfather was William Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Mary Polly Pierce. He has four brothers and three sisters, named Fielding W., Stephen, Simpson, Jeremiah, Cela, Rachel and Elizabeth. He is the second oldest of the eight children.
