Moses Skaggs 
Moses was born in 1796.1 Moses' father was Thomas Thompson Skaggs and his mother was Nancy Ann Vance. His paternal grandparents were Charles Skaggs and Lucinda Thompson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Alexander, William, Thomas Thompson,Jr., Elijah, James Thomas, Nancy Carolina, Mary, Jemima, Susannah Frances and Rachel Jane. He died at the age of 56 on October 18th, 1852.1 General Notes
