Mastin Skaggs 
Mastin was born in 1796 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 Mastin's father was Jacob Skaggs and his mother was Mary Gore. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and UNKNOWN Rachel. He had two brothers and a sister, named Henry Ellison, James Manon and Eleanor. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, John E., Notley Gore, William Richard, Mark Fletcher, Thomas and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 67 in April 1863 in Waynesville, Pulaski Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
