Martha Ellen was born in 1842.1 Martha Ellen's father was William Bustle' Skaggs and her mother is Martha M. Perry. Her paternal grandparents were William Skaggs and Mary Simpson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Fields, John Henry, William S., Nancy, Lucreasy and Pauline. She is the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
