Joseph Henry Skaggs 
Joseph Henry was born on July 2nd, 1868 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Joseph Henry's father was Henry Mitchell Skaggs and his mother was Lurena Elizabeth Carroll. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Skaggs and Rebecca Orrick. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Mitchell, James Lewis, Marvin S., Lucretia, Melvina Jane, Mary Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, Marion and Chrisse C.. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 41 on December 2nd, 1909 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
