Jane Skaggs 
Jane was born in 1825 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Jane's father was William Brock Skaggs and her mother is Nancy Wells. She had three brothers and a sister, named John Calvin, William Perry, Josiah B. and Sarah. She is the second youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph Brock, Dotson Elbert, William Perry, Sarah and Jane.General Notes

Jane and William Johnson were married in a religious ceremony on August 15th, 1851 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 They had a son and two daughters, named Robert W., Clara F. and Alice Jane.
