James Skaggs 
James was born on May 21st, 1801 in Virginia.1 James' father was Joseph Skaggs and his mother was Anna Lewis. His paternal grandfather was John,Jr. Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is UNKNOWN Unknown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John B., Zebulan, Samuel and Polly. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Michael, Joseph, Andrew Jackson, Delilah, Jane Susanna, Elizabeth and Cinderalla. He died at the age of 32 on July 26th, 1833 in Henry Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
