George Ernest Skaggs

George Ernest was born on May 17th, 1884.¹   George Ernest's father was Dotson Elbert Skaggs and his mother is Mary Malinda Stapp.  His paternal grandfather was William Brock Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Warner. He has five brothers and three sisters, named William Joshua, John Calvin, Elbert Dotson, Charles, Oscar, Flora Catherine, Sarah Josephine and Nancy Jane.  He is the youngest of the nine children. He has a half-sister named Mary Frances Warren.
