Ella Florence was born on June 15th, 1884 in Hodgenville, Larue Co., Kentucky.1 Ella Florence's father was James Allen Skaggs and her mother was Synthe Ann Warren. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Skaggs and Elizabeth Elkin; her maternal grandfather is Paschal C. Warren and her maternal grandmother was Letitia Skaggs. She had five brothers and a sister, named Edward Wiley, Robert Lee, William Thomas, James Franklin, Charles and Laura. She died at the age of 78 on March 24th, 1963 in Springfield, Illinois.
