David Skaggs 
David was born on November 16th, 1817 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 David's father was William David Skaggs and his mother was Margaret Hoover. His paternal grandparents are David Skaggs and Margaraet Cannon. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Solomon, William T., John W., Julius, Richard, Elizabeth and Rachel. He died at the age of 59 in 1876 in Benton Co., Arkansas. He was buried in Maysville Cemetery, Benton Co., Arkansas.1 1 General Notes
