William Singleton

William was born in January 1894 in Clear Creek, Knott Co., Kentucky.¹ William's father was Samuel Singleton and his mother was Kizzie Ritchie. His maternal grandparents were William Ritchie and Rebecca Smith. He had two brothers and a sister, named Cornelius, Linville and Bertha. He is the second oldest of the four children.
