John William Shropshire

John William was born on September 15th, 1845 in Alabama.¹   John William's father was Green M. Shropshire and his mother was F. Catherine Bates.  His paternal grandfather is Namon Shropshire and his paternal grandmother was Patsy Perry. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James M., David Namon, Parilee E. and Susan E..  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 70 on August 5th, 1916 in Texas.¹ 

‌John William and Susan Caroline were married in a religious ceremony in 1866.¹   They had two daughters named Mary Catherine and Susan Victoria.
