Jeremiah Shorter

Jeremiah was born in 1790.¹   Jeremiah's father was James Archibald Shorter and his mother is Lucy Childrey.  His paternal grandfather was John, Jr. Shorter and his paternal grandmother is Kindness Unknown. He had four brothers and a sister, named Robert, Benjamin, John, James and Kindness.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 37 in 1827.¹
