Her paternal grandparents were Marion Houston Sanders and Henrietta Samantha Rebecca Johnson; her maternal grandparents are Demas Ray and Nancy Minshew. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Billy Dean, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Barbara Ann and Living.
