Margaret Ansabelle was born on May 25th, 1852.1 Margaret Ansabelle's father was Ezekiel G. Sams and her mother is Mary Ann Pollie Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Gabriel C. Sams and Mary Polly Hampton. She had a brother and three sisters, named John H., Phinetta J., Elizbeth Arminda and Celia. She was the oldest of the five children.
