June Sams

June was born in 1863 in Madison Co., North Carolina.¹ June's father was Anson B. Sams and her mother is Sarah Louise Henderson. Her paternal grandparents were Gabriel C. Sams and Mary Polly Hampton. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Daniel M., Hannah M., Anson Benjamin,Jr., Paran J, Orion, Brahma Vishue, Sarah L., Degrah, Anna, Lucinda Lucy and Paran J. Beuhlon. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 17 in 1880 in Madison Co., North Carolina.¹
