Serena Ritchie

Serena was born in 1850 in Perry Co., Kentucky.¹ Serena's father was Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and her mother was Kissiah Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, Benjamin, James Irvine, Samuel, Joshua, William, Thomas, Armelda and Elizabeth. She is the youngest of the ten children.
