Samuel Marcellus Ritchie 
Samuel Marcellus was born in 1877 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Samuel Marcellus' father is John Ritchie and his mother is Synthia Hall. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Silas B., Eli, Jasper, Martha, Mary, Nerveste and Sarah Jane. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 84 on September 29th, 1961 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
