Joshua Ritchie

Joshua was born in February 1853 in Perry Co., Kentucky.¹ Joshua's father was James Monroe Ritchie and his mother is Hannah Fugate. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Martin Washburn, Francis, Gabriel, Alexander Crockett, Andrew, Samuel, Zackariah, John, James Crockett, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Hannah, Mahalah and Martha. He is the third youngest of the fifteen children.
