Eli Ritchie 
Eli was born in December 1870 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Eli's father is John Ritchie and his mother is Synthia Hall. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Silas B., Jasper, Samuel Marcellus, Martha, Mary, Nerveste and Sarah Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on March 2nd, 1956 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
