Joseph Gideon Prestridge 
Joseph Gideon was born on April 10th, 1864 in Sumpter Co., Alabama.1 Joseph Gideon's father was Benjamin Bagley Prestridge and his mother was Sarah Adline Williams. His paternal grandparents were Joseph N. Prestridge and Elizabeth D. Bagley. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George Harris, Benjamine Babley, Jr., Charles Henry, Sarah Elizabeth and Nancy Ann. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Burton, William Ashmund and Ellen Jane. He died at 10 months old on February 12th, 1865 in Sumpter Co., Alabama.1 -
