George Hopper Prestridge 
George Hopper was born on January 3rd, 1832.1 George Hopper's father was Joseph N. Prestridge and his mother was Elizabeth D. Bagley. His paternal grandfather was John, Jr. Prestridge and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Waters. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James Madison, Benjamin Bagley, Burton Rucker, Martin Armond, Timeon Howel, Joseph Jackson, Jensey Elenor, Malissa Mozell and Elizabeth Jane. He is the second youngest of the ten children.-
