William Morgan Preston

William Morgan was born on January 17th, 1850.¹   William Morgan's father was Booker Preston and his mother was Mary S. Ferguson.  His paternal grandparents were Moses Preston and Agathy Simmons; his maternal grandparents are Booker Ferguson and Mary Unknown. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Calvin Luther, George Elexander, Patrick Henry, John David, Albiam Alcey, Eugene P., Sempronius, Frances Jane and Alea Ann.  He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Olander Webb, Pendelton Douglas 'PD', Charles Edward, Ida Alice, Ora Belle and Catherine.  He died at the age of 65 on February 2nd, 1915.¹ 

‌William Morgan and Elizabeth Frances were married in a religious ceremony on December 25th, 1873.¹   They had eight daughters named Ida Belle, Lillie Pearl, Ada, Loisa, Mary, Minnie, Nancy Elizabeth and Olive.
