David Preston

David was born on March 12th, 1817 in Virginia.¹   David's father was Moses Preston and his mother was Ana (Sparkey) Amos. He had a brother and a sister, named Jubal and Mahala.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers named Lorenzo G., Mellon and Booker.  He died at the age of 78 on December 9th, 1895 in Barren Co., Kentucky.¹ 

‌David and Sallie (Sarah) were married in a religious ceremony about 1848.¹   They had five sons and four daughters, named William M., David, Jr., Edward, John, Jubal, Mahola, Margaret, Rachel and Renee.
