Catherine Preston

Catherine was born on October 19th, 1874.¹   Catherine's father was Booker Preston and her mother was Louisa Asbury.  Her paternal grandparents were Moses Preston and Agathy Simmons. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Olander Webb, Pendelton Douglas 'PD', Charles Edward, Ida Alice and Ora Belle.  She was the youngest of the six children. She had eight half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Calvin Luther, George Elexander, Patrick Henry, John David, Albiam Alcey, William Morgan, Eugene P., Sempronius, Frances Jane and Alea Ann.  She died at the age of 89 on November 9th, 1963.  She was buried in Greenhill Cem., Sullivan, Illinois.^1 1 

‌Catherine and Lindsay Morton were married in a religious ceremony on March 9th, 1898.¹
