Benjamin F. Porter

Benjamin F. was born on March 6th, 1790 in Orange Co., Virginia.¹   Benjamin F.'s father is Abner Porter and his mother is Hanna Ingram.  His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Porter and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Campbell; his maternal grandparents are John Ingram and Elizabeth Hawkins. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Abner, Alexander, William, George, Samuel S., Frances, Elizabeth Hawkins, Lucy, Maria, Nancy C. and Verlinda Alexander.  He is the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.
