John Commodore Pendley 
John Commodore was born on July 7th, 1853.1 John Commodore's father was Francis Eslick Pendley and his mother was Cassandra B Whitaker. His paternal grandparents were Austin Pendley and Jane Dennis. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George W, Columbus Byron, Mariah Jane, Mary E, Sarah Antha and Irene Holland. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 68 on April 18th, 1922 in BUTLER COUNTY, KY.1 General Notes
