Martin Patrick 
Martin was born in 1852 in Kentucky.1 Martin's father was James Patrick and his mother was Elizabeth Ritchie. His maternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and his maternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named James,Jr., Hiram, George, William, Andrew, John, Crockett, Milton, Sylvester, Sylvania, Barbara Ellen, Rachel, Sarah and Zackariah. He was the third oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 79 in 1931.1 General Notes
