William Farmer was born on December 18th, 1874 in Aberdeen, Monroe Co., Mississippi.1 William Farmer's father was John Calhoun Page and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Basham. His paternal grandfather was William Page and his paternal grandmother is Jane Unknown; his maternal grandparents were William Farmer Basham and Mary Mandeville Webb. He had two brothers named Henry Clinton and John Durwood. He was the oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Spencer Wycliff, Wortham David, James Leonedias, Fannie S. and Addie Zephyr. He died at the age of 84 on May 2nd, 1959 in Portales, Roosevelt Co., New Mexico. He was buried in May 1959 in Richland Cem., Roosevelt Co., New Mexico.1 1 General Notes
