J. C. Nichols

J. C. was born on May 15th, 1889 in South Carolina.¹   J. C.'s father was Marcus V. Nichols and his mother is Martha Minta Green.  His maternal grandparents are Stewart Green and Matilda Shehan. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Virgil, Grady Roland, Boyce, Eunice R., Stella E., Bessie L., Carrie Zella and Ethel.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 72 on October 9th, 1961 in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas.  He was buried in Friendship Cem., Grayson Co., Texas.^1 1 

‌J. C. and Gladys J. were married in a religious ceremony on November 12th, 1926 in Weatherfor, Parker Co., Texas.¹   They had two sons and two daughters, named Thomas Earl, Living, Living and Living.
