Lydia Saphronia Mitchell 
Lydia Saphronia was born in 1874 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 Lydia Saphronia's father is Thomas Mitchell and her mother was Mary Ann Blackwell. Her maternal grandparents were Joel Blackwell and Sarah Ememline Graham. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Oscar Newton, Barbara Ellen, Martha Emeline, Cora Bell and Fannie Beatrice. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 5 in 1879.1 General Notes
