Claud Dewey Megginson 
Claud Dewey was born on July 29th, 1898 in Woodson, Morgan Co., Illinois.1 Claud Dewey's father was Reuben Coats Megginson and his mother is Ida Mabelle McCurley. His paternal grandparents were John R. Uncle Jack Megginson and Fanny Hodgkinson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Cecil E., Alpha Jethro, Peter Dousland, Jesse Eugene, Bessie Mae, Maud Elizabeth, Sara Jane, Meda Louetta, Florence Mildred and Phyllis Irene. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 42 on October 4th, 1940 in Woodson, Morgan Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
