General Grant Meador

General Grant was born on June 15th, 1899.¹   General Grant's father is General Andrew Jackson Meador and his mother is Ollie P. Ray.  His paternal grandfather was Obediah, Jr. Meador and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Frances Ellis; his maternal grandparents are William T. Ray and Arianna Lester. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Obediah, Jerry Bryant, Claude Swanson, Mattie Lillian, Ollie Courtney and Ora. He had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Living, Clara Isabell, Virginia Mae, Mary Bertha, Living, Living and Living.  He died at the age of 83 on November 26th, 1982.¹ 

‌General Grant and Mary Erma were married in a religious ceremony on January 20th, 1921.¹
