George Willard McCubbin 
George Willard was born on June 29th, 1924 in Greensburg, Green Co., Kentucky.1 George Willard's father was Elijah Forrest McCubbin and his mother was Nancy Alice DeSpain. His maternal grandfather was Elzy Franklin DeSpain and his maternal grandmother is Mary Susan Marcum. He had five brothers and a sister, named Carl E.,Rev., Harlan, D. Edward, Russell Dale, Emery Hudson and Helen. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 67 on May 2nd, 1992 in Princeton, Bureau Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Sheffield Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
