Benjamin Martin 
Benjamin was born in 1659 in Dover , Strafford, New Hampshire.1 Benjamin's father was John Martin and his mother was Esther 'Hester' Roberts. His paternal grandfather was John Martin and his paternal grandmother is Suzan Hemertin; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Rebecca Hilton. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Thomas, Thomas, James, Mary, Martha, Lydia and Mather. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on March 2nd, 1732 in Piscataway, Middlesex , New Jersey.1 General Notes
