Charlotte Nadell was born on December 26th, 1911 in Waxahachie, Ellis Co., Texas.1 Charlotte Nadell's father was Harry Marbut and her mother is Ora Lee Walker. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Henry Marbut and Martha Ann Bassham. She had three brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Earl Horrace, Henry, Felix Baily, Lena Hettie, Hattie and Infant.
