Mary Jane was born in June 1860 in Missouri.1 Mary Jane's father was Patrick Maher and her mother was Mahala Basham. Her maternal grandparents were Joel Basham and Sophia Asbury. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John W., Joseph Lee, Ann Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca and Catherine Sophia. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 60 on June 28th, 1920 in Lexington, Lafayette, Missouri.1 -
