Sarah Jane Lane 
Sarah Jane was born on November 10th, 1858 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 Sarah Jane's father was Alfred Lane and her mother was Asenith Snider. Her maternal grandparents were John Snider and Mary Blount. She had a brother and two sisters, named John C., Mary E. and Nancy E.. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named William, Westley, Amy, Rosa, Della, Ida, Asenith and Dollie Mae. She died at the age of 6 on September 18th, 1865 in Avoca Cemetery, Avaco Township, Livingston Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
