Herbert Kornegay 
Herbert was born in March 1887 in Texas.1 Herbert's father was Thomas Daniel Kornegay and his mother was Arie W. (Amy) Basham. His maternal grandparents were Coffey Jones Basham and Julia Ann Waggoner. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Koby, Coffee Daniel, Thomas G., Maude, Audley and Lucinda. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 83 on July 25th, 1970 in Texas.1 -
