John Henry Keahey 
John Henry was born on March 24th, 1872.1 John Henry's father was George Jefferson Keahey and his mother was Martha Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Robert Jackson Keahey and Martha Slay. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George Oscar, Vaden Scott, Jefferson, Mattie Catherine, Stella, Margaret Lenore and Mary. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Jefferson, Joe and Mary. He died at the age of 45 on October 11th, 1917 in Rockwall, Texas.1 General Notes
