Benjamin Franklin Keahey 
Benjamin Franklin was born in 1857 in Mississippi.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was John Robert Jackson Keahey and his mother was Martha Slay. His paternal grandparents were George Jackson Keahey and Margaret Keahey; his maternal grandparents were John Slay and Elizabeth Sumerall. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William, George Jefferson, Alvia Wiggin, John Thomas, James A., Joseph Henry, Margaret, Amanda Jane, Frances Indiana and Martha. He died at the age of 81 on July 28th, 1938 in Rockwall, Texas.1 General Notes
